Bio


Jeremy Dyen is a highly ecclectic composer with a contemporary yet earthy feel, and a range of styles including hip-hop, jazz, Brazilian, classical, electronica, ragtime, jazz, Indian, rock, pop, singer-songwriter and new age, to name several. He is tremendously skilled both at working within stylistic boundaries or eliminating them, as dictated by the project, all the while maintaining his original voice.

As an accomplished pianist, keyboard player, singer and tabla player, Jeremy has so much at his command to weave into his compositions. Additionally, amazing production chops, a vast array of virtual instruments, synths, sequencers, percussion and guitars, plus a highly adventurous sense of sound all give him limitless possibilities to create undeniably first-rate music.

As an artist and composer , in addition to two solo releases, Soul Collapse and Onswitch, Jeremy also composed and performed on two CDs with his group Blivit, as well as two CDs with his group Amrita. He is currently finishing his third solo release.
Most recently Jeremy composed, performed anad produced a music dressage for Jane Karol, a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medallist, a regular competitor and winner at some of the top dressage shows in New England, and owner of Bear Spot Farm. Listen to excerpts.

As a performer Jeremy has recorded and performed world-wide with various groups. Most recently, he recorded on John Legend’s Grammy award winning cd, Get Lifted, he has performed with G-Love and Digable Planets, and tabla/percussion master Zakir Hussain. With former award winning touring band Fathead, he shared the stage with numerous national acts including Green Day, Maceo Parker, Ben Harper, Weezer and George Clinton to name a few, and has recorded and collaborated with Grammy award winning producer, David Ivory (The Roots, Erykah Badu).
